February is over have way through and we all think spring no matter what kind of winter we have had. The snow here in Central NE is beginning to shrink back leaving mud and soft ground to trek through. I guess it's good for we needed the moisture. Put the lights on in the barn and started the Super 14 supplement feeding for that accellerated winter hair loss. AND...WA-LA...that winter coat is shedding in buckets full showing the new summer hair. The color is always so beautiful, clean and shiney. Almost like unwrapping a gift as you brush them. Then, this plan of action now requires a blanket for those cold days yet to come. * * * Making plans for the 2012 show season is coming up fast. You can also check their web site out by clicking on the above link for additional details. ~~~ Maggie is now working on the lunge line picking it up rather quickly. She really likes the attention and figured out that she can move out both directions. I did introduce her to the big ball and she rather likes pushing it back and forth with me. Fun... Taking her first trailer ride without much fan fare was a good result for all. The lights are on in the stall and that winter hair is starting to fly off. Will she be ready for that March show?
